With just 48 hrs at home after camp, I’m off to the first big objective race of the year. We are in Paris, France before getting on our flight to Qatar this afternoon. Tour of Qatar is 6 days that starts with an 8km TTT. In case you were wondering, a TTT is probably the most violent effort you can make on a bike, and to start the season off that way, it’s gonna hurt! And the fact that it’s SO short, crap my legs tingle already. After that the next 5 stages are mostely flat, windy days. Echelons and fighting for position is going to be key. It should be fun. I’ll try and post updates after each stage, although during-stage-race-updates are never easy. Stay tuned!
